As a trans person, body modification in its broader sense has always been a part of my journey to reclaiming my own body in a society that pressures us to adhere to standards upheld by the patriarchy. This doesn't only apply to medical procedures such as HRT and gender affirming operations, but also body modifications such as tattoos and piercings. Tattoos are the most beautiful way to reclaim agency over my own body and expressing my true self with art and through them: falling in love with the skin I inhabit, and making it my own.

I’ve always been an artistically inclined person, as a child I spent hours sitting at my little desk drawing and coloring. I carried this passion with me all the way throughout adulthood, making it my job along the way. I studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and worked as a portrait artist for years. But deep inside I knew that creating on paper and canvas was not the end goal, and combining my passion for art with my fascination for body modifications was the logical next step, so I started learning about tattooing in 2020 and started experimenting with the help of my mentor in 2021. Now, I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else for a living.

It is an honor for me to be able to make this happen for all of the beautiful humans who decide to trust me with their own journey.
